1. What should you do when there is no sound coming from your hearing aid?

Check that there is no blockage in the tubing and earmould/ear tip.

Contact audiology to be put on a waiting list for a full audiology appointment.

Decide hearing aids are not worth the trouble.

2. What should you do if the tubing is hard and yellow?

Make a repair appointment in audiology to have it changed.

Continue to wear it because I don’t know how to change it myself.

The audiologists are too busy to worry about small things like that. It doesn’t matter if I'm hearing slightly less that I used to.
